    Collaborations Across the World

The HBRU has developed several national and international collaborations with world renowned experts in the field. Working in close partnership, they are help to unravel and develop new insights in the field of blood flow and coagulation in health and disease.

International collaboration with the University of Copenhagen is taking forward how alterations in blood flow and shear have an impact on coagulation.

The collaborative programme with Pennsylvania focuses on how the effect of acute inflammatory vascular disease alters the structure and quality of clot microstructure.

It is intended that the outcome of these programmes will result in new and improved biomarkers of coagulation in the future.
